I love to sew & I love doing hair. I love making people feel good and going the extra mile to make them smile. I know without a doubt that this blend of bridal is exactly what I was designed to do.
I've been sewing since I was a kid, like 10 years old and before that I watched my mom sewing and she watched her grandmother sew. My great grandmother was the lead seamstress back in the 1950's for a bridal company in Modesto. She worked there until her passing in 1978. And then my maiden name is "Taylor" and it just came natural and felt fitting. I clearly came from a family of tailors at some point, so really I was destined.
When I went to art school at Otis in Los Angeles, they'ed say that sewing was a dying art, so I'm dedicated to preserving history & an art that deserves a place in time Always!
When I was at Otis & even long before I made it there I would dream about having my own boutique. At the time I dreamed I made all the clothes.
"If you're lucky enough to do what you love and never feel like you are working...you're lucky enough."
And then there's hair. I've been cutting hair and coloring it before I even knew how. Mom was always waking me up at 6:00 am to blow dry her hair. I hated that, but I did it. My original plan was to work myself through fashion school as a hairstylist, but things didn't quite go that way.
So once I got out of beauty school I just wanted to be damn good at something. And I picked up-do's in particular. It was just my gift. I talk to God before I start an up-do & I ask for him and his universe to conspire in my favor and lead my hands. And then these beautiful up-do's just come to life.
